C10-16 Fatty Acid is a mixture of fatty acids. A mid-cut C10-16 Fatty Acid produced from vegetable oil sources such as coconut oil or palm kernel oil containing a process mixture of primarily C12 and C14 chain lengths. There may be residual carbon chain lengths from C10 to C20 present. In the manufacturing process, refined vegetable oil sources are reacted at high temperature and pressure with Water with removal of Glycerol. Desired chain lengths are produced from further distillation of the hydrolyzed material.
